 Fellow at Mater Mothers hospital  a Tertiary referral unit for the state of Queensland accredited by the Royal Australasian college of pediatrics and child health for advanced training in Neonatology and perinatology.
The Neonatal department has 70 neonatal beds with 25 high dependency cots. The unit is equipped with State of art facilities like High frequency /Pressure support ventilation, Nitric oxide & Cerebral function monitoring. Neonatal support is provided to neonates from a gestation of 24wks.As a Fellow in Neonatology I was involved in the clinical care of extremely premature and critically ill Neonates in the intensive care. Department also runs a Growth and development clinic, for the follow-up of high risk infants discharged from the unit. The Maternal Fetal medicine was actively associated with the unit for planning and management of high risk pregnancies.  I gained extensive experience in all facets of Neonatal care of Critically ill neonates, neonatal cardiology, high-risk follow-up and also practice of evidence based medicine.
I have also   published Scientific papers in International journals which have been well researched and cited by leading articles.
 Faculty University of Queensland:

I was involved in Teaching of Year 4 Medical students of university of queensland, and training and supervison of Registrars and Residents in the Neonatal unit.

Professor Of Pediatrics at M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore:
I have worked at M.S.Ramaiah Medical College for 12 years teaching undergraduates and Post graduates. I was an examiner affiliated to Rajiv gandhi universty of Health sciences. I was also incharge of the Neonatal unit for 10 years and instrumental in designing and commissioning of the New NICU at the M.S.Ramaiah Memorial Hospital.

Apollo Excellence award 2011- Recognition of Published Papers- 3 papers recognised.

State Conference Awards: 2 awards for best paper.
